CALL MY STYLIST / TYPE STUDY
A graphic-development note on irregular lettering and the value of subtraction.
CALL MY STYLIST began as a study in raw lettering. The direction was handwritten, rustic and deliberately imperfect: closer to a hurried note or the trace of smeared lipstick than to a cleaned display face. A stiletto-like gesture informed the line, while the rough edge of the lettering kept the composition near a halftone language without turning it into a texture exercise.
The useful revision was subtraction. Extra white-dot texture was removed. The graphic was reduced to text so that the irregular lettering could carry the image by itself. Bordeaux and black remained the important working colours, but neither needed decorative noise around it.
This file records a type decision, not a released Object. Its place in the archive is the interval where removing material made the direction more specific: fewer devices, a clearer gesture, and enough imperfection left in the letters to resist becoming a polished logo. The study remains open.
