FIELD RESEARCH / LONDON + MILAN
Walking, observing and collecting principles rather than reproducing surfaces.
LATE 2025The London and Milan trips involved conscious research without becoming rigid research programmes. Jeremy and Mary walked, observed and collected impressions from people, stores, museums, materials, windows, interiors, printed matter, menus, urban spaces, clothing, objects and branding.
MILAN / ARMANI
At the Armani museum, decorative beadwork on garments and dresses became a point of attention. The useful sequence was: observe; isolate a principle; transform it; experiment. Beads and stitching later moved onto caps without reproducing an Armani design.
LONDON / CAHOOTS
At Cahoots, printed ephemera functioned as part of an environment. Newspapers were not only information; they were objects. The encounter strengthened an existing interest in archives, editorial typography, old advertisements, clippings, receipts, stamps, labels and documentation that feels found rather than newly fabricated.
This is one part of the visual lineage behind KRYSSELLE WEB V2. It is an observed principle, not a borrowed identity.
