THE FIRST CYANOTYPE HOODIE
Sun, chemistry, plant matter and a garment that could not be repeated exactly.
2025The first cyanotype hoodie belongs to the moment when the garment became an active surface. Sun printing and plant material produced an image through process rather than simply carrying a finished digital graphic.
Individual variation was part of the result. So was cost. The study pointed towards a material language that felt right while revealing a production model that was difficult to sustain.
